Elixir Developer

They are looking for a talented backend developer who can join our team in Berlin to help build amazing experiences for customers and end-users.

The role:

You will help augment existing backend systems which integrate our computer vision algorithms with our advanced production deployment system. Besides building and implementing key backend features, you will communicate with users! They want you to be comfortable with prototyping and pitching your own ideas to other members of the team.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science
• Experience developing HTTP REST APIs
• Ability to design robust microservice architectures
• Experience working with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL
• Solid knowledge of Elixir and appreciation for functional programming
• Solid backend working knowledge of at least one of: C/C++, JavaScript, Java or Ruby
• Experience in remote debugging of cloud services
• Experience working with Phoenix and Ecto is a plus
• Experience with Amazon Web Services or similar from Google, Microsoft, etc
• Solid git skills
• Fluent in English (German not required)
