DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a number of Senior DevOps Engineers for 3-6 month contracts who is passionate about technology and who collaborate well in a team environment. The client is within fintech.

Responsibilities:
-Participate in the on-prem data center to the cloud infrastructure and systems migration
-Create infrastructure for the new environments with Infrastructure as a Code
-Look after infrastructure security concerns
-Contribute to the security architecture of the infrastructure
-Collaborate closely with the engineering, security, and product teams
-Automate processes if you do it more than twice
-Build with monitoring and observability in mind
-Support less experienced colleagues in career development

Ideally you will have:
-At least 5 years of experience in a DevOps / Operations / Systems Engineer role in Linux based environments
-At least 2 years of experience as a cloud administrator (preferably AWS), writing infrastructure as a code with Terraform, Cloudformation or Pulumi
-At least 2 years of experience with configuration management (Ansible, Chef or Puppet)
-Work experience in a regulated environment is a plus
-Experience with orchestration solutions like Kubernetes is a plus
-Working knowledge of project and workstream management tools, such as Confluence and Jira
-Be able to contribute to and make steady progress on tasks and be able to ship results regularly
-Be both process- and result-oriented and understand when to use one or another approach
-Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with peers on the team
-Be aware of when to ask for help when getting stuck and don't go down the rabbit hole
-Have a growth mindset: dedication, hard work, and perseverance
