DevOps Engineer

A long-term partner of ours are looking for a DevOps engineer to join their team. They are a market leader in feedback systems and provide an end-to-end solution that turn real day-to-day experiences of customers and employees into useful information for your business. Your tasks:

• Development, maintenance and administration of the entire company infrastructure (AWS and Kubernetes
• Automation of all activities in the infrastructure environment
• Active participation in the development of microservices
• Support of the agile development team during debugging
• Introduction of monitoring systems to supervise the company platform and microservices
• Collaborate on topics related to IT security in web environments
• Maintenance and development of backup systems of databases (e.g. MongoDB/CitusDB/PostgreSQL)

Your profile:

• Completed studies in the field of computer science, business informatics, engineering or comparable qualification
• Excellent knowledge of UNIX/Linux
• Knowledge of container technologies, the entire docker toolbox and cabernet
• You know Amazon Web Services very well (EC2, EKS, ECS, CloudWatch, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, S3, IAM, AWS CloudFormation Templates)
• Strong organisation skills and structure independent way of working
• Analytical and conceptual thinking are self-evident for you
• You are familiar with agile working methods such as Scrum and/or Kanban
